Hi,
I've recently upgraded two of my clients (Windows Server 2003) from 12.1.2 to 12.1.5 using a freshly created installation package in SEPM console.
Strangely enough even though I specifically selected the option NOT to perform a reboot, after a successful upgrade I looked in the Edit Properties of the Client to found that the Deployment messages read: 'To provide complete protection, Symantec Endpoint Protection requires the computer to restart'
I deleted this installation package in case there were any errors and re-create it
I ensured the correct deployment package was selected along with the Client Settings paying particular attention to select the option 'Server Install No Reboot'
It would appear that regardless of whether this option is selected or not the client always requires a reboot. Is this so?
