Scanning file uploaded by users in asp.net website

Hi,

We have a asp.net website that runs on windows 2008 R2 server. We want to scan the files for viruses when the users upload them. If the symatec finds the virus in the file, I need to let the user know right away. So, having the anti virus scan the drive is not a solution. Can I use Sysmatec Endpoint protection for my purpose. If so, how? Is there .net API available? I saw similar question http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/aspnet-anti-virus-scanning-api, but it doesn't have any useful answer for my purpose. Please help.
