2 computers show offline in SEPM but function perfectly

So i have 2 computers that constantly show offline on SEPM but when i check them i see that they are up to date with the latest and greatest defitions and SEP client 12.1.6.
No green checkmark over the yellow shield in the icons tray at the bottom.
I found a person who had the same issue here in the forum but he ended up just re-building everything from scratch including removing them from AD which i am not interested at.
Any chance where to go from here?
