Virus definitions stuck on a specific date.

Currently within our environment we are running into an issue were multiple machines are stuck on a specific date for virus definitions. We are currently using GUPS in this enviroment and the GUPs seem to be up to date and working properly. For the workstations it seems as they check into the GUPs because they download the latest protection defintions and SONAR defintions(Attached is a screenshot of the definitions).

Would this be a case of bad virus defintions? If so how could we remove the definitions remotely as we do not have access to most of these machines to troubleshoot.
