Hi,
Some of our clients are using Polycom video conference application in their laptop and SEP is blocking them. I have allowed all the ports related to polycom in SEP firewall rule and still its not working. One of the app uses %USER-PROFILE% and somehow Symantec doesnt recognize this value.
C:\Users\srini\AppData\Roaming\Polycom\CloudAXIS\2.0.2.2876\RPWSHostApp.exe - This needs to be allowed globally and hence i need to use some wilcard which skips user profile folder
C:\Program Files(x86)\Polycom\RealPresence Desktop\RealPresenceDesktop.exe - Added in f/w rule.
Can you please let me know how to whitelist this two exe file regardless how they communicate(internal/external) since they are using laptops.
RPWSHostApp.exe - This is a Polycom plugin which allow users to join Video conferences through their browser.
We did several tests and we identified that some packets are blocked by the Symantec for some destination. Its there a way we can allow the application to run smoothly regardless the destination it calls?
Thanks in Advance.
