Convert client from full protection for clients to basic protection for servers

Hi,

I have wrongly deployed a full protection for clients package to a server. I disabled the Network Threat Protection from the manager, problem though is that the client then shows error message: "There are multiple problems. Proactive Threat Protection is disabled/ Firewall is disabled." Auditors will surely comment about this negatively. Is there a way I can convert it to a basic protection without having to uninstall and re-install a basic package. Any change in registry? Thanks to help. If I put the client in a different group and on Install packages choose basic protection, will there be any change? I have already assigned full protection package to the group.
