I need a solution
I'm pretty new to Symantec products, joined a company that has SEPM and I need to upgrade to the latest version. I'm about to upgrade SEPM from 12.1.4023.4080 to the latest version and had a question. I'm reading over the best practices for upgrading here:

Step 3 is listed as "Prepare Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.x managers for migration". This includes turning off replication, disabling "protect client files and registry keys" application control policy, and removing assigned client packages. Are these steps ONLY if you're upgrading from an 11.x version? So if I'm already on 12.x I don't need to disable replication etc. before upgrading?
