Before I begin, here's some info that might help.
Our centralized SEP management server is running Windows Server 2008 R2 and the remote GUP server in question is running Windows Server 2012 R2. We have 5 other GUP servers running WS2012R2 and they are experiencing no problems. We have a total of 10 GUP servers and only the one is having issues. We are on SEP version 12.1.4.
To the matter at hand. The GUP server in question seems to be pulling the full SEP package from the management server daily. It moves over 2 GB from the management server to the GUP. For comparison, the management server pushes roughly 5 MB to the other GUP servers on a normal day. We don't have much bandwidth so it's making it hard to do much else while it's happening. I'm limiting the bandwidth at the moment, which helps, but now it's downloading most of the day.
The policy for that GUP server is set exactly the same as the other GUP servers. I've uninstalled the SEP client from the server and reinstalled it. Yet, the problem persists.
