Is there a roll back procedure from SEPM 14 to SEPM 12.1.6.x?

I wanted to repurpose one of my SEP 14 DEV servers back to SEP 12.1.6.x...is there a procedure to do that, or do I need to uninstall, blow away the DB, and reinstall? As this is a DEV server, I was looking for the easiest solution that might allow me to retain all my policies and client connections during the roll back.
